Almost exactly one year ago (I’m only six days off), I was wearing the same “please-hire-me-I’m-desperate-for-a-job-I’m-a-real-good-worker-please-please-please” outfit, doing the same thing I’m about to do now, only my hair was way longer, I had a different belt, and… oh, there’s a four-state difference between then and now. A year is a long, long time.
